I've developed some form of weird insomnia over the past few weeks. I'm so tired, but worried about lack of sleep that as soon as I get into bed I begin to stress about falling to sleep, which in turn leads to not falling asleep! Vicious cycle.
I purchased some non prescription but medicated sleeping tablets from the pharmacists. Sheesh. Falling asleep now isnt too bad, but getting yourself up the morning after?! Painful.

Was it melatonin they gave you? I found that it did a great job getting me to sleep but yeah, it was a b*tch to get up! Ugh.
ReplyDeleteTry some yoga before bed? Warm milk? Warm shower? Sex? Take off the TV and computer an hour before? Trying to toss things out. :)
ReplyDeleteNot melatonin, it is...Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 50mg. I think it's an antihistamine. Whatever it is, it works it just works too well with a 5.45am alarm! \

I actually tried hot milk with them yesterday and it did work! Managed a solid 4hours! I think I'm just beginning the IVF overthink!
Shall definitely try sex....;)
